Railhead Closing

6.20.08: Big news everyone. Tonight and next weekend will be the last times Yellow Brick Road will play The Railhead at Boulder Station, for a while anyway. Due to extensive remodeling efforts, the Railhead will be closing down for a few months (tentatively through the end of October). This will mean that all currently scheduled entertainment there will be cancelled or put on hold until it reopens in November.

Station Casinos has been kind enough to offer us a new home in the meantime. On Friday nights, YBR will perform at Club Madrid inside Sunset Station, 11-2am, beginning July 4, and on Saturdays in the Ovation inside Green Valley Ranch Resort, also 11-2am, beginning July 5.

As you probably know, we are already doing Wednesday nights at Ovation now, and it's going superbly! It's a great venue, the sound is great, and we're already packing the place, with many new fans, as well as longtime friends.

We first played the Railhead back in 1998 when it was more of a "lounge" (though it was by far the best lounge in Vegas). Then in Sept. 2000 they remodeled the room, and we were given the weekend late-night slot, where we've been every weekend since. That is an amazing -perhaps staggering- run, friends, and we're so thankful for the opportunity. We've made it our home and built a very large, loyal following there. So many memories....

Now we look forward to keeping the momentum going at the new properties, and with any luck, we'll return to the Railhead in the late Fall.

As always, thanks for supporting us with all our different ventures. Let's send off the Railhead with a bang. OK, now who wants to get banged?

5.13.08: Thank you to everyone who supported our Pink Floyd Tribute show on May 2. Check out some photos by friend Jerry Wang HERE . We also posted some videos in our MEDIA player. Suffice it to say, I think we exceeded all expectations (even our own), and the packed house, multiple standing ovations, and feedback afterwards have been the greatest reward for the hard work we put into it. For a full review, check out Brody's blog at our MySpace page . We are already looking into re-booking the show soon, so stay tuned.

Green Valley Ranch

5.13.08: We've finally picked up another mid-week ongoing event! Starting May 21, YBR will perform every Wednesday at Ovation inside the Green Valley Ranch Casino . This is still a relatively new venue, but it's state of the art when it comes to sound and lighting. The showtimes will be from 9:00pm-11:30pm.

Best of Las Vegas '08

3.24.08: Thanks to everyone who voted for us...we won the Reader's Pick for Best of Las Vegas in the Lounge/Tribute category (last year we won the critic's choice), and we also took runner-up for Best Local Rock Band (to The Killers). We gladly accept the awards, and will continue striving to be the best at what we do.

2.21.08: A new year, and time for a new look. A huge thanks goes to Stephanie Martinez who worked with us to create a new site with some great, flashy new features that's still easy to navigate through.
