Video Shoot
4.17.09: This Saturday, April 18, we will be taping our live show at Boulder Station. There will be several cameras capturing the excitement, which means a DVD is coming soon. To get your mug on camera, you have to be there
though. Here's the deal....we are starting at 11pm this night. We know, it's confusing. Our normal start time on Saturdays is 10pm, going until 1am. There is an event which runs late before us on this night, so 11pm-2am it is, with doors possibly opening around 10pm. We hope you can be there and bring
some great Las Vegas energy to the show.
Also noteworthy, we will be playing Fremont Street Experience on Wednesday, May 6 in front of 8,000 Southwest Airlines people. Unfortunately this is a private event for their employess, and it also means no Green Valley that night. So hurry up and apply for that SW Airlines job so you can attend!
Even More Schedule Changes
1.29.09: We're moving again...starting February 6-7, we are switching our weekend schedule backwards...from now on it'll be Fridays at
Aliante Casino and Saturdays at Boulder Station Casino. Both nights are still 11pm-2am as usual.
We'll also continue our Wednesday nights at Green Valley Ranch Resort, 9pm-11:30am. All shows are free admission and 21+.
We know we need to update the site since we have a couple "new guys" in the band, so watch for new photos and bios soon, and stay tuned for an announcement about a new video taping of a live show. Exciting stuff....
Passing the Torch
9.14.08:
We'd like to say thanks to the HUGE crowd that turned out last night at Green Valley Resort for Mark and Todd's last show with YBR (apparently we set some new records for
the room!). It was a very special night right from the start and carried on until the end. We got so caught up in the moment that we forgot to play a special slideshow until
after we'd already left the stage. If you missed it, here's a web version.
It was an emotional sendoff to two very talented musicians and friends. For the past eight years, we've been fortunate to have these guys as our band mates and comrades.
Truly a great period of our musical careers that we will all cherish deeply. Please note that we have no illusions of "replacing" them, as that could never happen, however
we will begin a new chapter with our two newest brothers, Brooke and Jonathan.
Our first show is Monday, September 15 at the Tropicana Hotel Pool Party (7:30-10pm). As you can imagine, our new guys are as anxious/nervous as many of you are curious.
Keep in mind, it's going to take a while for things to settle in. Mark and Todd had eight years to do so :)
One thing is for certain, this new band is already off to a great start in terms of friendship, and that is more than half the battle with any group. Brooke and Jon are
great guys, and of course, immensely talented as well. We're looking forward to many more years of great music and memories with you all.
We ask that you continue to come out and support the "new" band as you have done for so long now. Oh, and don't expect just the same ol' thing....yes, we'll be keeping
a lot of your favorites, but also adding some new material as we go...and a few surprises down the road.
Hope to see you soon....Thanks!
YBR
